1. Policy Overview
MVA Quote is dedicated to respecting consumer communication preferences. This Do Not Call (DNC) Policy outlines our compliance with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and related regulations. It also explains how you can restrict our marketing outreach and place your information on our internal Do Not Call list.
2. Express Consent and TCPA Compliance
When you submit your mobile phone number, telephone number, and contact details via our case evaluation forms, you are providing your express written consent to be contacted for marketing and advertising purposes by MVA Quote and our independent partners (independent attorneys, law firms, and legal service marketing organizations).
This contact may occur via:
- Voice phone calls using automated telephone dialing systems (ATDS).
- Prerecorded messages or artificial voice messages.
- SMS text messages (standard message and data rates may apply).
- Email correspondence.
Your consent to receive these calls or text messages is not a condition of purchasing any service. This consent remains active even if your number is registered on a local, state, or federal Do Not Call Registry.
3. Opting Out of Communications
If you no longer wish to be contacted by MVA Quote or our network of independent legal service providers, you may revoke your consent at any time. You can opt out using the following methods:
- SMS Text Opt-Out: Reply with the word "STOP", "QUIT", "END", or "UNSUBSCRIBE" to any text message you receive from us or our partners.
- Email Opt-Out: Click the "Unsubscribe" link located at the bottom of any marketing email sent to you.
- Direct Request: Send an email request containing your full name, email address, and the telephone number you wish to suppress to info@mvaquote.com with the subject line "DNC List Request".
4. Internal Do Not Call List
Upon receiving an explicit request to stop receiving telephone communications, we will add your phone number to our internal Do Not Call list. It may take up to ten (10) business days to process your request and fully update our systems. Please note that placing your number on our internal DNC list only limits communications from MVA Quote and our immediate partners. If you have already engaged with a specific law firm or attorney, you will need to contact that entity directly to request to be placed on their DNC list.
5. National Do Not Call Registry
For broader protection, you may register your personal telephone numbers on the National Do Not Call Registry, maintained by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). Registration is free and can be completed by visiting www.donotcall.gov. While registering on the National DNC Registry limits unsolicited telemarketing calls, it does not prevent calls from organizations to which you have provided express consent, such as MVA Quote.
6. Policy Updates
We review and update our DNC Policy to ensure compliance with changing state and federal regulations. If we make material modifications, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
